SELINSGROVE, PA - Jessica Pratt, a 2014 graduate of York College in York, PA, was selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Academy of Science this past spring. Jessica presented her thesis research project: The Behavioral Effects of Aspartame Exposure to Black Planaria.
The Pennsylvania Academy of Science hosted its 90th annual meeting at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. The event serves as a valuable and vital resource for science professionals, faculty, and students within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Every year select groups of mostly undergraduate seniors from colleges and universities across Pennsylvania gather for this 3-day event. PAS represents an excellent opportunity allowing students to present their individual research and thesis work in a science symposium setting while also enjoying other oral presentations and having a great time socializing with peers and faculty.
Jessica earned her bachelors of science degree with a major in Biology and minor in Sustainability and Environmental Science. Jessica is the daughter of Charlie and Christa Pratt of Berkeley Heights.
