Jewelry Thieves Strike 2 South Orange Homes

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Two residents reported to police that someone stole several pieces of jewelry from their homes during May.

A Glenview Road resident and an Underhill Road resident both stated that someone removed the jewelry sometime in the last month. In both cases, the victims had several contractors working inside their houses when the thefts occurred.

In other police news:

  • Kevin Davy, 22, of South Orange, was arrested on May 27 when detectives determined that he was responsible for previous reports of lewdness in South Orange and Maplewood.
  • Jenny Medina, 29, of Orange, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to a one-car accident on Vose Avenue at about 8:20 p.m. on May 30.
