WAYNE, NJ - The John F. Kennedy varsity boys basketball team needed a fourth-quarter rally to overcome DePaul on Thursday.

The Knights of Paterson erased a four-point deficit going into the final quarter and went on to a 60-48 victory over DePaul. The fourth quarter saw JFK break out of offensive doldrums that plagued the Knights for three quarters, as they outscored DePaul, 27-11, in the final quarter.

Jalani Morris led JFK with 19 points. High-scoring guard Alphonso Gee had to work hard for his 15 points, which were well below his 20-plus average. Charles Powell dropped in 14 points in the victory.

The victory left JFK with a 6-4 record. The Knights are off until Monday, when they take on Don Bosco Prep.
