JFK Girls Gain First Basketball Victory

PASSAIC, NJ - The John F. Kennedy High School varsity girls basketball team broke through for their first victory of the season on Tuesday afternoon.

Tajae Stevenson scored 24 points to lead JFK to a 65-22 victory over Passic High School. Diamond Singletary connected for 13 points and Cha'liya Brown 10 points in the victory. John F. Kennedy also got eight points from O'lesheya Braxton, six points from Emily Brown and four from Tamia Williams.

Stevenson leads the team with 12.1 points per game and Singletary has contributed 9.4 ppg.

PATERSON, N.J. - The Green Acres Program has purchased an 8.5 acre tract of land adjacent to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park.
