SHORT HILLS, NJ - Little Black Dress, a ladies night out organized by the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills (JLOSH), was held at the Hilton Short Hills on Friday, Feb. 28.
Two-hundred dressed women came out to mix, mingle, try their luck at the raffle and auction, laugh, dance and support JLOSH’s community programs. The evening featured cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations, and a dessert candy bar. Entertainment included a contortionist “in a bubble” from Anna’s World Entertainment, a photo booth and Ravens, a “chocolate teller” that reads your character and fortune by your chocolate pick.
Together with support from corporate sponsors, local retailers, and community members, JLOSH’s Little Black Dress event raised over $20,000, which will support the Junior League’s charitable programs aiding women and children in need.
“We appreciate everyone who helped to make the event a success, be it a donor, a member who help planned the event or a guest that came to enjoy the night out,” said JLOSH President Sara D’Andrea. “The funds raised will enable us to continue our tradition of developing the potential of women and improving the lives of women and children in our community.”
Event sponsors included Blow In Blow Out, Elizabeth Winterbottom of Keller Williams Premier Properties, The Sue Adler Team of Keller Williams Realty and Investors Bank. This event was also supported by JLOSH sponsors including D&B Foundation, Overlook Medical Center, Creative Wallcoverings, the Nicholas J. and Anna K. Bouras Foundation, and XFA Financial.
