NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - In unofficial results, Councilman Alan Lesnewich and newcomer Gary Kapner have won seats on the New Providence Borough Council with 3,255 and 3,187 votes, respectively. Victor Moschella finished third with 608 votes. For the New Providence Board of Education, all three candidates ran unopposed. In unofficial results, Adam Smith received 2,374 votes, followed by William Dibble with 2,146 votes and Robert Dinerman with 2,055 votes.
