MAPLEWOOD, NJ – Karate For Youth Childcare celebrated its Grand Re-Opening celebration this past weekend.

Deputy Mayor Kathy Leventhal and Committeeman Marlon Brownlee were on hand to help unveil the new playground equipment and welcome the Center’s new director, Ms. Franklin.

Karate For Youth Childcare Center is currently accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year. Hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

They accept children ages 5 weeks through 5 years in their Toddler/ Pre-K program and children 5 years and up in thei After-School program.  As their slogan says, they are “more than just karate.”

The Center provides transportation as well as breakfast, lunch, and a snack for children during the day.
