Devoted wife and mother, Karen E. Didzbalis of Edison, Dies at 54

EDISON, NJ - Karen E. Didzbalis, 54, of Edison, died at home on August 13, 2014.

Karen was born on December 19, 1959, in New Brunswick and resided in Edison for the last 26 years.

Karen was a homemaker and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1979. She volunteered for Midtown Little League for many years and was active in the Edison PTO. Karen was a dedicated wife and mother and devoted to her family.

Karen was predeceased by her parents, Albert Gore, in 1999, and Ann Gore, in 2013. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Albert Didzbalis, of Edison; twin children, Albert, and Krista Didzbalis, of Edison; brother, Mickey Gore and his wife, Barbara, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three sisters, Mary Anne Connolly and her husband, John, of Edison; Kathy McGowan and her husband, Jack, of Edison; Nancy Sarnowski and her husband, Butch, of Cape May; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840.

Funeral Services will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
