STAFFORD - Family and friends gathered to celebrate the retirement of Patrolman Keith Oler and welcome the newest members to the Stafford Police Family.

Patrolman Oler, badge # 99, was hired at the Stafford Township Police Department in 2007, and retires after a total of 31 years of service.  Oler also worked in Ship Bottom for a number of years. The Stafford Township Police Department and Mayor Greg Myhre extended congratulations for Oler's many years of service. 

Officer Jennifer Mocanu, was also officially welcomed in the service. Mocanu began during the height of the Covid-19 crisis.

The department also wlecomed the newest fulltime Patrolman at Stafford.  His name is Jackman Bush. His dad Richie served many years as a police officer in Ocean County. 

There were three new recruits sworn in also. They were Christopher Smith, Gordon von Schmidt, and Nick Racanelli.

These three young men began their training today, Monday, August 3 at the Monmouth County Police Academy.
