WESTFIELD, NJ — On Thursday, the Keller Williams Realty office in Westfield cleaned and beautified Westfield’s September 11 Memorial, along with the area between the memorial and the train station, as part of RED Day, Keller Williams Realty’s annual day of service. RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate.

The team weeded, removed dead plants, cut back the dead parts of the tall decorative grasses, laid down mulch and removed leaves, fallen tree limbs and trash.

About 15 agents participated, as well as Brian DiVito from Millenium Home Mortgage, according to Sales Associate Jesse Flowers, who organized the event.

“I went for a walk around town, looking for a good community service project for our office. When I came to the 9/11 Memorial, it was clear from the overgrown weeds, dead plants and fallen tree limbs, this was the perfect candidate,” said Flowers. “The 9/11 Memorial deserves to be kept in pristine shape throughout the year and we were honored to do our part on this one day.”
