KENILWORTH, NJ - Before the end of last year's school session, Ms. Janice Marsili, seventh grade Art Teacher at David Brearley Middle School, conducted an art poster contest.

The students were advised to draw something that evoked a health related theme, some drew ideas associated with air pollution, smoking, eating habits, medication and alcohol abuse.

Once each art poster was completed, all twenty of them, they were submitted to the Kenilworth Health Department where they hung in the window throughout the summer months.

Justin Panzarella, Registered Environmental Health Specialist for Kenilworth, commented, "There were many great entries to choose from and we appreciate all of their efforts."

The posters were then displayed at the Annual Michael L. Vitale, Sr. Health Fair at St. Theresa's School on Sept. 26.

Each poster was numbered one through twenty so residents could vote on their top three choices. The top three awards went to: Jenna Antonucci, Melanie Mangano and Mariam Apecechea.

The first place winner received a pizza party and the second and third place winners received a $50.00 gift card.
