KENILWORTH, NJ - Please see the following message from the Kenilworth DPW.

The DPW will collect curbside RECYCLING as follows:

North: October 13th & 27th

South: October 6th & 20th

The DPW yard is open M-F, 6:30 to 3 pm, and the first Saturday of every month, for recycling drop-off. NO pizza boxes and NO plastics, except #1 and #2. When in doubt throw it out. We also take used motor oil and electronic waste (computers, etc.).

All Vegetative Waste continues to be collected every Wednesday until October 28th. Place all vegetative waste in a covered 32-gallon container or in brown paper lawn & leaf bags at the curbside. This includes branches, leaves, plant clippings, grass, etc. Large branches must be bundled and tied in three-foot sections.NO PLASTIC BAGS and no dirt/mulch.

Residents may pay $35 per unit fee for disposal of stoves, washing machines, water heaters, and dryers.  There is also a $35 fee for items containing Freon or other refrigerants, such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc. 

Residents may pay a fee, per unit, for the collection of bulky waste items listed on the Borough’s price list, available on the Borough website.  Please contact Kathi Moschitta, Deputy Borough Clerk, to make payments and arrangements for this collection, at 908-276-9090.
