KENILWORTH, NJ - Please note the Mad Science weekly workshops hosted by the Kenilworth Public Library has changed the time. The weekly workshops will be presented on Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for children ages four to twelve years old. Mad Science will offer each week a new STEM-related activity with suggestions for the experiment to be completed at home. 


The theme of the first workshop is Chem-Mystery.

You can participate at home if you have these materials on hand:

At Home Activity Supply List:

Shaving Cream

Tray or large plate

Paper (white cardstock or index cards work best,

Can even cut out from paper plate)

Washable paint (a few colors)

Craft stick or long pencil/pen you don't mind getting dirty

Paper towel or a towel for clean up




Spoon (Tablespoon)


**NOTE: Children do not need to have these materials on hand in order to sign up for the STEM-related science workshops.

The workshops will begin on Thursday, July 2, and conclude on Thursday, August 13. The link to register for these one-hour programs will be available on the library’s Facebook page,  Starting at 9:00 a.m. on July 2, registration will be available on a first come, first-served basis.
