NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Kick Off the 2014 Relay For Life of Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Mountainside and Summit at our Relay Pep Rally on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the New Providence Senior Center, 15 E. 4th Street in New Providence. (Snow date is Feb. 13.)
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing community event that gives us a chance to celebrate the lives of survivors who have battled cancer, honor the caregivers, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
We hope that you will join us to officially kick off the 2014 Relay For Life event. Join our towns’ cheerleaders, pep band and the entire Relay family. Learn how to create your own team, join an existing team, participate as a survivor or caregiver, involve your local connections, support other Relay participants, and receive helpful resources and information. It’s a great opportunity to find out what Relay is all about and how to get involved. Light refreshments will be served.
In June 2013, our Relay For Life event raised over $345,000, and brought together 115 teams and over 1,200 people from the Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence, and Summit communities. We were the largest event in the Eastern Division for the states of New York and New Jersey again in 2013!
The 2014 Relay For Life of Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Mountainside and Summit will take place on June 7-8, 2014, at Governor Livingston High School.
