Last spring, The Manischewitz Company held a contest for grocery stores around the country in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month, celebrated each May. Stores were asked to create displays featuring kosher products from Manischewitz and other purveyors as well as information about Jewish American heritage. Kings Supermarkets won the nationwide competition and in turn, donated their winnings to local Jewish charities. On August 25, representatives from The Manischewitz Company and Kings Supermarkets presented a check to Jewish Family Service of MetroWest at the store in Short Hills.
