Kirton Wins 100 Hurdles at NJAC Track Meet

ROCKAWAY, NJ - Freshman Simone Kirton won the 100-meter high hurdles in 15.45 on the second day of the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference Track Championships on Wednesday at Morris Hills High.

Sophomore Erin Tencic placed sixth for Chatham in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.31. Chatham's 4x400-meter relay team of Kirton, Morgan Maltby, Tencic and Lia Ferrone finished fifth in 4:12.15.

Chatham placed seventh as a team with 27 points.
