The Following is the list of known major power outages in the Township of Millburn. Jersey Central Power and Lighting Company have been notified of all these locations, multiple times. Millburn OEM will continue to apply whatever pressure we can.
At 1500 hours, Millburn Police Patrol Division reports that not one JCPL crew can be found working in the Township.
Once again, the frustration level of our friends and neighbors is felt by this municipality and we will be applying pressure via all avenues to ensure that JCPL is held accountable for their response and recovery efforts during this storm.
At this juncture (3 September 2011 at 1500 hours / 3:00 PM) JCPL reports that 909 customers in the Township of Millburn are still without power. We are unsure of how valet that information is, as many of our residents have received robocalls from JCPL stating their power has been restored, when it has not been.
