NEW YORK CITY,NY -Joseph Lacerda from South Plainfield will be in his first New York City Performance in a Monologue Show called Sex, Relationships, and Sometimes….Love on Valentine’s Day and will run for 3 weekends following. This monologue was first produced at Show World in Times Square in 2003. These monologues are for everyone. They characterize the raw, delicate, and poignant perspectives of sex and love; it is a show about relationships.
Lacerda started his acting career making videos in high school with his friends. He also made some short films, but the dream of becoming an actor did not become a reality until he was a junior in college and joined a theater program. After a successful senior year and being in multiple productions, Lacerda decided to pursue a career in acting after graduating from the College of New Jersey in 2013.
Lacerda has been recently cast in two minor roles in the play “A Man of No Importance”, which is premiering at Edison Valley Playhouse in Edison, New Jersey in March 2014.
Lacerda’s debut in New York City will be at The Producer’s Club starting on February 14, 2014. The Producer’s Club is located at 358 W. 44th Street in New York City. The event is a monologue show written by Joelle Arqueros and directed by Brian Remo. Brian Remo’s shows have been nominated for 12 Perry Awards over the last two seasons. He is CFO and founder of Fearless Productions, LLC.
