LAKE COMO, NJ — Lake Como’s traffic pattern has shifted into off-season mode.
That includes returning 17th Avenue from B Street to Main Street to two-way traffic, removing the stop signs at 17th and White Street, and permitting weekend parking on the southbound side of 18th Avenue from Main Street to New Bedford Road. In addition, two-way traffic has returned to New Bedford Road.
The one-way, stop and no parking signs that are part of the borough’s seasonal traffic flow plan have been taken down. They will return on May 15, 2020 as a way to relieve congestion and increase safety on Lake Como’s busiest streets during the summer season.
Redmond Avenue, which is no longer part of seasonal traffic plan, remains one-way eastbound for its entire length with parking on both sides.
