U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee member Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced the release of a report highlighting the accomplishments of the committee during the first six months of 2014.
Upon the release of the report, Lance said: “Members of the Energy and Commerce Committee are proud of its record of delivering bipartisan results on legislation that promotes job creation, economic growth and energy independence. As one of the most productive committees in Congress, the Energy and Commerce Committee is a legislative workhorse at the center of congressional efforts to encourage job creation and strengthen our economy.”
The mid-year report highlights the work done by the Energy and Commerce Committee’s six subcommittees in 2014, outlining each subcommittee’s key hearings and initiatives to promote jobs, modernize government, and protect families and communities. The report also highlights key legislation advanced by the committee in 2014.
