Lancer Sports and IMPACT Testing Update

LIVINGSTON, NJ - According to a Lancer Flash Update sent by Livingston High School Athletic Director Patrick Genova, "With today's cancellation of school and the declared state of emergency in New Jersey, all practices and events scheduled for today are cancelled, including ice hockey practice at Codey Arena tonight."

The practice schedule for tomorrow is posted on the website. Additionally, all competitions scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday are on and will be conducted, as scheduled.

At this time the only make up from today that has been rescheduled is the wrestling match vs. Seton Hall Prep. The new date for this match is Feb. 7. 

Also, a wrestling quad match at Jefferson has been added for Saturday, Jan. 4. Team members are urged to refer to the scheduling site for more information on this match.

Genova said he anticipates many more changes next week. As of now, a practice schedule has been generated for this Monday, Jan. 6. On Monday, when many of the postponements are finalized, the practices will be scheduled for the rest of the week. 

Here is Monday's schedule:

  • Girls Basketball (all levels), 3:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m., Aux Gym
  • B/G Fencing Match, 5:15 p.m. – 9:15, Aux Gym
  • All Boys Basketball Games, 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., New Gym
    • Boys Varsity Basketball Game, 4 p.m.
    • Boys JV Basketball Game, 5:30 p.m. vs. MKA
    • Frosh Boys Basketball Game, 7 p.m. vs. Visions Academy
  • High School Wrestling, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., Wrestling Room

IMPACT Testing

Impact testing was scheduled today for a number of winter athletes, however with no schoo, today, these appointments have been rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 13. Students scheduled for today should report to the same room and at the same time as today on Jan. 13.

20-Year-Old Orange Man Arrested for Murder of Missing Montclair Woman
