LaVerdiere, of Maplewood, Wins 'Endure for the Cure' Obstacle Race

MAPLEWOOD, NJ -- A Maplewood man took first place in the men's division of the "Endure for the Cure" 3.5K Obstacle Challeng Race.

Jamie LaVerdiere completed the course in 24 minutes, 46 seconds. The obstacle race was part of the 2014 Susan G. Koman North Jersey Race for the Cure, held on May 4.

The race was part obstacle course, part run and featured 15 obstacles, including tires, monkey bars and a cargo net climb.
