LIVINGSTON, NJ - Livingston’s Advisory Committee for Disabilities (LACD), in conjunction with Parents and Professionals for Exceptional Children (PPEC), will be holding a free Livingston Abilities Fair, on Sunday, January 26, from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Senior Community Center, which is located at 204 Hillside Avenue. The fair is open to the public.
The event is sponsored by: CMC Adaptive, The Barger Law Group, LLC, Harbor Haven Camp, Keller Williams Real Estate and SJ Personal Health Care Advocates.
Attendees of the fair will explore the latest products and services for children and adults with disabilities. Experts will be on hand to provide tools for people with physical, sensory, developmental and learning differences. Exhibitors will include local speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and behavioral therapists. In addition there will also be attorneys with expertise in education law, estates and special needs trusts at the event. And, representatives from local camps and social service agencies that serve the special needs community will be on site.
There will also be activities for children run by teen mentors and a quiet room for children that have sensory issues.
