LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Arts Council of Livingston will be holding the 15th annual “Art at the Oval,” on Sunday September 21st, 2014, from 11:00AM – 5:00PM.
Art at the Oval is a juried, outdoor fine art and craft exhibit, with exhibits from many well-known area artists. The event, which takes place at the picturesque Livingston Oval, is a well-known tradition in town and draws artists from the entire tri-state area.
Applications are still being accepted and all artists are invited to compete in this prestigious juried art show, with ribbons & cash prizes. Because of the demand, we will be accepting the applications on a first come first serve basis. Artists who sell their artwork, photography, artistic jewelry, sculpture and decorative pieces are encouraged to sign up for the event. In addition, this year we are, again, including an “emerging artists” category, featuring new, up and coming artists. The event will also feature many activities for children and adults, alike.
To quote Arts Council president, Vivian Olshen, “We are excited to feature a variety of unique art work that will make perfect gifts or additions to your home.”
The fee for enrollment is $75. For further information please contact Vivian Olshen at 973-992-1950, firstname.lastname@example.org or Irene Feigen, 973-994-1516, email@example.com
