LIVINGSTON, NJ – TAP into Livingston recently interviewed Michael Nusbaum about the development of his app called “Bonzo Me.” As an update, the app has responded to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by asking users to donate to the ALS Association (ALSA).
Nusbaum said users of the app are encouraged to upload their Ice Bucket Challenge videos and donate the revenue they earn to the ALSA.
“It’s free money basically, so why not donate it?” said Nusbaum.
“Bonzo Me” pays users for posting content such as videos, and according to Nusbaum the challenge to donate through the app is currently being promoted through social media.
The app is continuing to grow with 5,000 new visits per week. Nusbaum said, “We went global unexpectedly.”
“A lot of singers and musicians are posting because we have music and record producers looking for talent on our site. We are promoting [the app] to talent to put up videos and possibly get discovered,” added Nusbaum.
