LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Education! Facebook group will host a Livingston Board of Education Candidates’ Online Forum on Wednesday, October 14, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  

“We are excited that all four BOE candidates will be participating in the Forum and look forward to a lively event,” said Mike Ramer, administrator of the Livingston Education! Facebook group. “We are happy to provide this service to the community to help all watching make an informed decision about who they will vote for.”

Participating will be Board of Education candidates, Bridgette Nevola, Vineeta Khanna, James Calderon, and Jenissa Arnette, who are vying for one seat in the November 3 election.

Separately, the candidates were interviewed in the Livingston Education! group.  Each video interview has received more than 1,200 views to date.

The Online Forum is open to the public and can be viewed on  It will be simulcast on various Livingston Facebook groups.  

The two-hour event will cover a variety of topics including remote/hybrid classes, social/emotional learning, student mental wellness, board structure, budget, guidance, and social justice.

The Forum will be co-moderated by Livingston residents, Andrew Miller, Saba Khan, and Mike Ramer.
