Livingston Girls Soccer Team Defeats Columbia, 4-0

LIVINGSTON, NJ – In their first game since defeating Montclair on Oct. 3, the Livingston Lancers girls soccer team continued their winning ways by shutting out the Columbia Cougars, 4-0. This victory moves the Lancers to 7-2-1 on the year.  

Junior Annie Werner had two goals, both unassisted, while sophomore Allie Beinhacker and senior Jordy Bonvini had one goal apiece. Both Lancer goalies Mykala Healy and Samantha Rothenberger had one save each in order to achieve a shutout. The Lancers played without defender Casey Garfinkle, who is nursing an injured wrist.  

On Friday, Oct. 11, the Lancers will travel to Glen Ridge to face the 7-3 Ridgers in a key Supper Essex Conference matchup.
