LIVINGSTON, NJ - The first day of spring brought sunshine and a crisp chilly wind to the campus of Livingston High School (LHS), as well as hundreds of cold Junior Prom attendees.
This was likely the first prom in the school’s history where snow was still in the background of many couples’ pictures. It was also one of the earliest prom dates on record.
After years of fundraising and planning, this year's junior class and their dates assembled at the school to embark on 11 busses for the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park for an evening of food, music and dancing.
All attendees were bussed to and from the event to avoid students having to drive in individual vehicles.
Staff members accompanied the students to the event and helped to organize the smooth flow of the masses.
In addition, the high school TV class had a reporter and camera man on-scene interviewing prom goers for televising on the school’s A.M Wired Show that airs in the school and on LTV.
