Livingston Man Charged in Real Estate Investment Fraud Scheme

NEWARK, NJ – A Livingston man was arrested at his home by federal law enforcement officers Tuesday morning on charges that he allegedly ran a real estate investment scheme that bilked victims out of $4 million, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
 
Abbe Edelman, 50, of Livingston, is charged by complaint with six counts of wire fraud. He is scheduled to make his initial court appearance at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Falk in Newark federal court.
