LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Four members of the Livingston High School softball team recently were named to the 2019 Super Essex Conference’s All-Liberty Division First Team, as selected by the conference’s coaches.
Jess Bullion, Chloe Saperstein, Deja Robinson and Hailey Reuter of Livingston all were selected to the first team.
Bullion, a sophomore, had an 18-9 record as a pitcher and struck out 219 batters in 143 innings. Saperstein, a junior catcher, had the highest batting average on the team at .485 and she drove in 22 runs. Robinson, a sophomore, batted .444, scored 28 runs, had 25 RBI and stole 17 bases. Reuter, a sophomore, led Livingston with 30 runs scored, had 23 RBI and stole 19 bases.
Livingston players Guilia Wilson and Nathalia DiIanni each were named to the division’s second team. Wilson, a freshman, had a .464 batting average and a team-high 28 RBI. DiIanni, a sophomore, batted .435, led the Lancers with 20 stolen bases and scored 26 runs.
Julie Moresco and Emily Hunter of the Lancers both received honorable mention in the division.
