Livingston Weekly Court News, June 9 – June 15

LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Livingston Municipal Court settled one case for the week of June 9 through June 15.

Casandra Severe of Orange was charged with shoplifting at Sears for attempting to steal four pairs of leggings valued at $96.

Severe pleaded guilty to the charge as written and was sentenced to a 90-day jail term, which was suspended, one year probation and 25 days community service. Additionally, she must pay a $500 fine, $33 in court cost fees, $50 to the Victim of Crime Compensation Fund and $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund.
