LIVINGSTON, NJ - The holiday season is one of the most dangerous times of the year to be on the road. The Livingston Health Department and Community Policing Unit are asking residents to “Tie One on for Safety” as part of a MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) campaign which asks drivers to tie red ribbons to visible locations on their vehicles.

According to the Livingston Community Policing Unit, "The red ribbons represent drivers’ pledges to drive safe, sober and buckled up, which reminds other drivers and passengers to do the same."

Members of the Health Department and Community Policing Unit will be giving out MADD red ribbons at the Livingston Public Library on Dec. 5 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
