EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ  – Calling all artists in East Brunswick! How have you been staying creative during COVID? What projects are you working on? How have you adapted your art to these strange, new times? Don’t just tell us – show us!

The East Brunswick Arts Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting arts and culture in the town, is putting together a short film profiling how artists in East Brunswick are staying creative and practicing their craft during the COVID-19 crisis – and they’re asking for the help of local artists to create it.

Specifically, the organization is asking artists to share their work via a 10-20 second video "selfie" (filmed via their phone) that features them and their artistic endeavors.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

“Whether you are a painter, printmaker, mixed media artist, or maybe you practice culinary arts, performing arts, or literary arts -- whatever it is you're creating -- we hope you'll take a moment to share your work with our community,” says Marla Camins, president of the East Brunswick Arts Coalition. “During these challenging times, staying connected as a creative community is vital, and by creating this snapshot of the amazing work being done in our town, we hope to support, encourage and inspire all of the artists, and aspiring artists, in East Brunswick."

Once complete, the video will be aired on EBTV and posted on the township’s social media channels.

Videos should be uploaded to:  https://forms.gle/rpndY9F74CfniAaq9  The deadline for submissions is August 31.
