Local Employees Help Dress for Success Morris County During Company’s Annual Day of Volunteerism
EAST HANOVER, NJ - As part of The Novartis Group’s 18th annual Community Partnership Day worldwide, a group of employees spent a workday at Dress for Success Morris County in Madison.
Dress for Success Morris County promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire as well as a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
The team of volunteers spent the day organizing donated clothing at the nonprofit in order to select coordinated interviewing outfits for 50 women in transition. Dress for Success is dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.
The volunteers on the team, from Novartis Consumer Health and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, were among more than 2,000 associates from the Novartis Group companies who provided hands-on support that benefited nearly 80 nonprofit agencies throughout New Jersey. Community Partnership Day is a global initiative within the Novartis Group that reaffirms the company’s commitment to social responsibility and offers opportunities for associates to give something back to the communities where they live and work.
