After a very successful spring season, a number of players from the Union County Rugby Football Club (UCRFC) U19 programs have been named to Metropolitan New York Rugby Football Union (METNY RFU) All-Star teams. Making the METNY U19 Girls team were Laura Bermudez, Jane Braun, Brittany Graham, Rachel Harth, Kaylen Santiago, and Emily Sawers. In addition, Elisabeth Sulmont was named as an injury reserve. The girls will travel to Vermont to participate in the Northeast LAU Invitational with a chance to be selected to the Northeast All-Stars.

On the boys'side, four UCRFC players made the METNY U18 Boys team- Ryan Farrell, Jorge Cuisana, Peter Ondi, and Billy Hedley. Making the METNY U20 Boys team were Joe Brady, Mike Sheehan, James Brady, Brandon Dietz, Zack Bascio, Pat Taranto, Joe Ondi, and UCRFC alumni- Chris Sheehan and Camaran Burke. This weekend, the U18 Boys will face the Delaware All-Stars while the U20 Boys will participate in the JoJo Moore Tournament. On the weekend of June 19 and 20, both teams travel to Pittsburgh, PA to play in the Potomac Rugby Foundation's All-Star Challenge Cup.

In addition to receiving METNY honors, Joe Brady has been selected for the USA Rugby High School All American team and Brandon Dietz has been selected to the USA Rugby U20 National Team.
