ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Outdoor Movie Night is back this Friday at Herm Shaw Field for one night only for a showing of “Love, Simon” for Pride Movie Night.
“Love, Simon” (PG-13) is a 2018 movie that follows a closeted gay teen struggling with how to come out to his friends and family.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs. Like with this summer’s outdoor film series, masks and social distancing will be enforced.
Freeholder Rebecca Williams will be a special guest speaker at the event. Williams has spoken on women’s and LGBTQ+ issues at events for Garden State Equality, The Center for American Women and Politics at the Eagleton Institute at Rutgers University, The National Council of Negro Women and Emerge-NJ.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and the sun is supposed to set by 6:48 p.m. on Friday.
