When one Vietnam Vet in the Sunnyside Mobile Home Park fell ill, his neighbors discovered the state of his home. That’s when, according to an article in the Daily Local, the “Sunnyside Project” came together.
According to the article, the Lower Providence residents and several local businesses united to assist Christopher Galeassi after he’d lived more than a year without running water under a collapsing roof.
