November 12, 2013, Madison, NJ -- The annual Madison Arts and Culture Alliance (MACA) Holiday Arts Festival returns to Madison on Friday, November 29, 2013 from noon to 5 pm.  This highly acclaimed Festival, now in its eighth year, draws hundreds of residents, artists, musicians, dancers, singers and more to Madison's central business district for a creative and fun-filled day of live performances and interactive events in non-traditional spaces such as a few of Madison's most popular shops, storefronts, restaurants and businesses including Drip Coffeehouse, Provident Bank, Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, and Blue Purl.

Once again, we have an eclectic and exciting line-up of performers and events including classical guitarist Darren O’Neill, harpist Merynda Adams; jazz pianist Jerry Vezza; Dance Innovations Performance Company; caricaturist Andrew Pungot; acclaimed brass ensemble, Simply Brass;  acoustic rock musician, Jack Tannehill; children’s musician Kathy Byers, and much, much more.  All the exciting entertainment is scheduled to conclude in time for you to enjoy Madison’s traditional Santa Parade along Main Street at 5:30

The Holiday Arts Festival is presented free to the public by The Madison Arts & Culture Alliance (MACA), a coalition of arts organizations, cultural institutions, historic societies, colleagues and friends, dedicated to encouraging collaborations among the wide ranging cultural offerings in Madison. Our ongoing mission is to help strengthen our community through arts participation, recognizing that Madison, New Jersey is a town with rich and diverse cultural activities.

MACA would like to thank this year’s festival sponsor, Investors Savings for their generous support and assistance.  MACA events are also made possible by funding from Morris Arts.    For more information about the festival or about MACA, visit our website  www.madisonartsnj.org or email us at info@madisonartsnj.org
