PARSIPPANY, NJ - A big offensive boost from Kevin Armstrong helped steer the Madison varsity boys' basketball team to its second victory of the season on Saturday.
Armstrong connected for 26 points to lift the Dodgers to a 54-48 road victory over Parsippany Hills. Madison erased a three-point first-quarter deficit with an 11-4 spurt in the second quarter. From there, the Dodgers finished the game by outscoring the hosts, 39-23, in the second half.
Armstrong was hot from the perimeter, knocking down four 3-pointers. Casey Weiss finished with 12 points for Madison and Tim Azzolini scored six.
Madison has won two of its last three games, and is scheduled to play next at Hanover Park at 7 p.m. on Friday night.
