MADISON, NJ - The Madison Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the borough's next big event.
Spring Sales Day is schedule for Saturday, April 26. In addition, Madison Little League teams will march through the downtown during their Opening Day parade that day. The parade begins at noon from the parking lot of St. Vincent Martyr Church. The Little Leaguers will march down Main Street to Dodge Field.
Madison merchants will be offering extra savings, markdowns and fresh new spring merchandise.
“It’s a perfect reason to get out of the house after this long winter,” said Karen Meyer, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.
Participating merchants will set up tables outside their stores to showcase their special offers.
“With the warmer weather upon us, we will enjoy seeing people strolling through town shopping and dining. We are pleased to be able to give shoppers an additional reason to Shop Madison,” said Jacquie Dismore, owner of Doodlebugz at 55 Main St.
Free parking is available at lots on Waverly Place, Cook Avenue, Elmer Street and Kings Road. For more information on parking visit www.rosenet.org.
