Madison Chamber of Commerce Holds Annual Awards Dinner, Celebrates 125th Anniversary of Madison’s Incorporation


MADISON, NJ – More than 100 business owners and guests gathered on Tuesday evening for the Madison Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner. Awards were presented to numerous Madison businesses, the Jack Morris Scholarship Recipients were announced, and long-time Madison families were honored as part of a celebration of the 125th anniversary of Madison’s incorporation.

Executive Director of the Chamber Karen Meyer said, “We have a fantastic turnout for the event tonight.  We’re here to celebrate accomplishments and to recognize Madison families that have been in business in town for at least 50 years.”

Dr. Allison Adams announced the Jack Morris Scholarship Recipients:  John D’Addario, Abigal Raymaker, and Frank Iannarone IV.

Danielle Dixon presented the Business Improvement Awards. The DDC won best signage for the alley signs.  Rocking Horse and Starting Line Sports won for Best Relaunch.  K9 Campus won for Best Renovation.

Lauren Phalin and Tara Spagnoletti of Rocking Horse told TAP into Madison, “We are honored to be recognized for the relaunch of our business on Waverly Place. We'd like to thank the Madison Chamber of Commerce and our loyal customers who supported us throughout our transition. The Taste of Madison Committee and Doodlebugz won the Appreciation Award.

Trish Wilson, co-owner of Doodlebugs with her sister Jacquie Dinsmore, said, “We are so honored to win this award and to be recognized for giving back to our community.  Many thanks to the Madison Chamber of Commerce.”

The Distinguished Service Award was presented by Ken Toumey to Dr. Allison Adams. Toumey presented the Community Service Award to the Christmas Committee.

Carmine Toto presented the recognition to the longtime Madison businesses in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Madison’s incorporation.

Historic Business Awards were awarded to Madison Car Wash & Detail Center, Romanelli’s Pizza & Italian Eatery, Madison PhotoPlus and Madison Auto Body.
