MADISON, N.J. – The Madison girls’ basketball team was on the losing side of a close game again on Thursday night.
The Dodgers, who went into Thursday’s game looking to go above .500 for the season, dropped an overtime heartbreaker to Parsippany, 50-49.
The victory was the first for Parsippany, which are now 1-18.
Madison led by 12 points at the start of the fourth quarter, however the Red Hawks the Dodgers, 23-11, in the final period to send the game into an extra session.
Parsippany then got the best of Madison in the five-minute overtime period.
The Dodgers play at Roselle on Friday.
