MADISON, NJ - A huge first half carried the Madison girls lacrosse team to a 20-9 victory over Mt. St. Dominic Monday afternoon in Madison.
The Dodgers outscored the visitors, 14-3, in the first half to take command. Brynn Taylor led the way with five goals and two assists for Madison (6-3 on the season). Ari Goret, who scored two goals, was the top playmaker, contributing four assists to the Dodger attack.
Rachel Azzolini and Catherine Crowley found the net for three goals apiece in the victory. Michelle Montagna and Molly Fishter each had two goals and one assist, with Lauren Taylor, Maddie Anton and Kaitlin Hanley each accounting for one goal.
Madison outshot Mt. St. Dominic, 30-12, with Emilie Flamme making six saves in goal for Madison.
