Madison H.S. Graduate Austen Lein: Landmark Conference Men's LAX Player of Year

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Madison High School graduate Austen Lein has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year. Lein is a senior attack for Susquehanna University.

Lein, a 2010 graduate of Madison H.S. who was a Second-Team player in 2013, has started all 17 games for Susquehanna this season. He leads the team in goals (25) and assists (33). 

Lein's 33 assists are the most in a single season. Lein is the program's all-time leader in points and he now has 176 (92g, 84a) for his career with his 92 career goals tied for fourth most all-time.

On Wednesday, Lein had a hand in knocking the university from his hometown out of the playoffs. Lein scored two goals and had one assist as Susquehanna (10-7) defeated Drew University, 9-4, in the semifinal round of the Landmark Conference playoffs.
