Madison Marching Dodgers Making Noise on Oct. 6

MADISON, NJ - The Madison Marching Dodgers will host and participate in the Tournament of Bands at 1 p.m. on Oct. 6.

They will be competing against some of the most noted marching bands in the area.  This is their opportunity to make the Atlantic Coast Championships. The Madison Marching Dodgers enter their fourth year of performance under the leadership of Madison’s High School Director of Bands, Russell Batsch. Their theme of presentation for 2013 is “What Dreams May Come”. The band plays at halftime during all Dodger varsity home football games as well.

In a recent interview with The Alternative Press of Madison, Batsch indicated their team of musicians and crew has really grown through their networking and past performances.  Batsch indicated the band has a goal to make a lot of noise when the other team has the ball during football games, perform in parades and compete to be part of the current tournament of bands. On Oct. 6 at the Madison High School, 170 Ridgedale Ave., that’s just what they’re going to do.
