Madison Softball Team Defeats Parsippany, 5-3, on Thursday

PARSIPPANY, NJ - The Madison varsity softball team pounded out 12 hits en route to a 5-3 victory over Parsippany Thursday afternoon.

Alise Bassolino went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored to back winning pitcher Stephanie Deeb, who struck out six and walked two in seven innings. Deeb scattered seven hits.

Alyssa Debaisse, who drilled a triple, Caitlyn Massaro and Kristina Qualben also contributed two hits apiece for the Dodgers, who improved their record to 7-2. Jill Caruso of Madison connected for an RBI single.

Madison's conference record remains unblemished at 5-0.
