MADISON – The Madison High School field hockey team stayed perfect on the season with a 3-1 victory over Morristown-Beard on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Following three shutout victories to start the season over Montville, Boonton and Parsippany, Madison continued its hot start to the season in Tuesday’s road contest. Mary Ragold put in two goals and June Sirria added a goal for the Dodgers. Madison had a 9-4 advantage in shots. Meghan Karrat scored for Morristown-Beard, which lost its first game of the season.

The Dodgers are back in action on Wednesday at home against Bernards at 4:30 p.m.

Girls Volleyball - Madison (4-4) lost to Monroe in straight sets, 25-18, 27-25, on Tuesday. Megan Tierney had five kills and six digs, Amelia Kennedy finished with 17 digs, Hailee Burgess recorded eight digs and Helen Simmons totaled 12 assists and six digs.

The Dodgers return to action on Wednesday at home against Vernon. The match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
