MADISON – The Madison High School field hockey and football teams were in action on Friday, Oct. 18.

Field Hockey - It was Senior Day for Madison field hockey.  The Dodger's defeated Morristown-Beard, the Morris County Tournament runner-up; 1-0. In a rematch of the county tournament semifinals, the Dodgers got revenge and won 1-0. Madison improved to 10-3-1 on the season.

Football - Madison fell to 1-5 on the season after dropping its fourth straight game in a 28-21 road loss to Lenape Valley Friday night. The Dodgers led 14-0 after one quarter of play. Lenape Valley ultimately used a 14-point fourth quarter to pull ahead to victory. Nick Molinari finished with three touchdown runs for Lenape Valley and Drew Tongo scored on a 20-run. For Madison, Austin Schmitz found the end zone on two 1-yard runs. The Dodgers will look to end their losing streak in a home game against Hanover Park in a NJSFC American White tilt on Oct. 26. Madison will complete its regular season with a home game against Newton on Nov. 2.
