MADISON, NJ - Bottle Hill Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 5 this year. This community celebration draws between 10,000 and 20,000 people to the heart of Madison every fall. Madisonians, merchants, organizations and community all come together to enjoy a day of hometown shopping, entertainment, family, food and fun. Discover new shops in the downtown district, make new friends, meet the vendors and celebrate Madison.
Bottle Hill Day originated over thirty years ago promoting the business district. Throughout the years, the event has grown and changed. In an effort to continue that economic growth and business development, the (DDC) Downtown Development Commission has worked to establish new programs and provide entertainment for the community to enjoy.
Lisa Ellis, member of the Downtown Development Commission since 2008 and the Bottle Hill Day Chair said, "We are really looking forward to Bottle Hill Day 2013. Jerry Vezza, representing MACA, continues to expand the musical performances. This year will be better than ever! We are working closely with Drew University to grow their presence at the event, and the day will culminate with everyone being invited to their campus for music and a fireworks display. I can't think of a better way to end a great community festival!"
