WEST ORANGE, NJ - In a community of more than 46,000 residents, there's always something happening in West Orange. With a unique readership of over 134,000 individuals over the past year, we are passionate about providing information to the West Orange Community that is not only informational, but inclusive and interesting to a broad range of our readers.
We are in contact with organizations, schools, the township, and businesses to do our best to keep on top of what's happening and provide current news and information. But it's still not enough. We need YOUR help to do a better job, and here's how.
For sports groups, PTAs, teachers, businesses, organizations, non-profits, churches, schools, and more, the easiest way to get information out on what you are doing is to sign up to contribute content on the Alternative Press. It only takes a minute to set it up, it's easy, and it saves us a lot of time when it comes to publishing an article, community announcement, press release, or event if you do it yourself. You will follow the prompts to sign up at www.thealternativepress.com for West Orange, and once you do, you can submit directly to the site. We reserve the right to determine if it's eligible for publication.
For individuals that have an opinion, they can always submit a Letter to the Editor. They can do that by signing up to contribute content or by emailing WoTap at email@example.com. We will need your name and address and will publish it barring objectionable content or language. We also recommend that West Orange residents sign up for the daily E-News, which you'll receive in your inbox each morning. Like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter at West Orange TAP.
For for-profit businesses, we will publish your information in a basic directory listing at no charge. You can also sign up to contribute content for community announcements and press releases. If you want more than that, email us and we can meet with you to discuss advertising advantages.
The West Orange Alternative Press exists to support the community and to provide objective news, information, and support. But it's a two-way street. We can't exist without our advertisers and community support. This is the foundation of our hyperlocal business.
It is our hope to continue to provide everything West Orange to residents. For those of us that live here, we know there are many good things about the township that are not always promoted. We have made that effort, as well as to provide information on the issues a suburban township may struggle with.
Help us help you, and sign up to contribute content, get your e-news, and check out our Facebook and Twitter today.
